Shams-Riaya

Developed the backend for Shams Riaya, a healthcare companion platform connecting users with their designated observers through mobile applications. Built secure Laravel RESTful APIs enabling users to manage medications, medical appointments, and health reminders while delivering notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), SMS, and WhatsApp. Implemented an SOS emergency system that instantly alerts observers, allowing them to monitor medication adherence, missed reminders, emergency requests, and the user's overall health status in real time. Designed the platform with scalability, security, and reliable real-time communication in mind.
